| Fr. Walter F. Malloy Assembly #1894 will be hosting its 6th annual Mass Honoring Military & First Responders at 11:00 AM at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church (3700 Old Lee Hwy, Fairfax, 22030). His Excellency, the Most Reverend Sir Knight Michael F. Burbidge, Bishop of Arlington, will be the Principal Celebrant. All Active Duty and Reserve Military are encouraged to wear their Dress Mess uniforms; all Law Enforcement and Fire & Rescue personnel are encouraged to wear their Class A uniforms. Special seating will be provided toward the rear of the church for any personnel who are on-duty, and special parking for any police, and fire & rescue vehicles being brought to the church (please advise SK David J. Todd, Jr., PFN, at djtoddjr@gmail.com, if you will be bringing such vehicles). A picture will be taken in front of the church at 10:45 AM... all Military & First Responders are encouraged to meet there to be a part of the picture. A reception will be follow the Mass in the gym of St. Leo the Great Catholic School (3704 Old Lee Hwy, Fairfax, 22030; the entrance is toward the rear of the church, across the parking lot from the west side of the church). An Honor Guard is needed: any Sir Knight who has Official Regalia is encouraged to participate. Muster for Honor Guard will be 10:15 AM in the back of the church. |
